Deck The Halls With These Dashing Stocking Stuffers

Christmas socks

One of my favorite childhood Christmas-morning memories was opening up my stocking.  Stuffed to the brim, I would find all the tiny goodies Santa had left for me. I always wished for candy, nail polish, or -- wait for it-- makeup, to make me look like all the high school girls on my bus whom I idolized.  (I guess some things never change do they?)! Now that I'm older, and a little wiser, I've revised my list for Santa. Whether you are shopping for a teenager or your great aunt Susan, she is certain to jump with joy when opening up one of these Mrs. Claus approved stocking stuffers.

1. Lip Balm

Now before you scroll past and think “chapstick is the lamest gift EVER”, I beg you to hear me out on this one.  This lip balm is a total game-changer when it comes to dry and chapped lips.  Part with those thick and godawful tasting balms and make Burts Bees your go-to. My favorites are the Vanilla Bean and Original Beeswax (which actually tastes like peppermint!).

Find these flavors along with two other top sellers in stores like Target or at www.burtsbees.comP.S., while you're there, pick up some for yourself!

2. Hair Mask

Do you ever notice how your hair becomes a staticky tangle during the winter months? The cold weather pulls moisture from the air, resulting in dry and coarse locks.  Bless your friends and family with good hair in the new year by gifting them a hair mask! This avocado, banana oil, coconut milk, and agave enriched hair mask by Raw Sugar will do just the trick.  Find it for $9.99, here!

3. Dry Shampoo

While we are on the topic of hair, dry shampoo is a must.  I don't know about you, but dry shampoo is a daily product for me.  Even if your hair isn't dirty, dry shampoo can volumize and lift your roots.  Plus, the bottle will fit wonderfully inside a stocking. Shop the line of Batiste Dry Shampoo here. You can also find it in store at Target, Ulta, and Walmart!

Pro tip: I'm a blonde and Bare works great for me!  For dark-haired friends, try Divine Dark or Beautiful Brunette

4. Mascara

Be sure to slip this goodie in all your bff’s stockings.  Rated as one of the best mascaras of 2019, how could you go wrong with the Milk Makeup KUSH Mascara?  By using CBD and unique heart shaped fibers, this mascara is high volume and super hydrating! Check out both the mini and standard size at www.sephora.com or shop in Sephora stores.

5. Nail Oil

This is one of those things that you never think about asking for, but end up using all the time.  Dry and cracked cuticles are not the move during the dry months. CND’s SolarOil uses jojoba oil, almond oil, and vitamin E to restore thin and cracked nails.  Made for both men and women, you can't go wrong with this one! Find it on Amazon for $8.50.

6. Bath Bomb

Bath bombs are the perfect addition to any gift, whether in a stocking or not!   With the stressfulness of the holiday season, a good hot bath always works to calm me down.  Add that little dazzle of Christmas magic with a bath bomb. Find the Da Bomb Bath Fizzers at Target for $4.99.  If you're looking for something with a little more holiday spirit, shop Lush’s line of Christmas (and eco-friendly) bath bombs here!

7.  Shower Loofah

To go along with that relaxing bath bomb, grab a loofah!  Loofahs help get rid of dead skin by gently exfoliating. Now all you need is an unoccupied afternoon, a book, and a bathtub!  Check out Bath and Body Works’ shimmering loofahs at www.bathandbodyworks.com.   You can also find them at any local CVS or department store.

8.  Facial Spray

This is a product that I discovered not too long ago and fell in love with.  Facial sprays or mist are great for both makeup lovers and those who like to keep it natural.  Simply spritzing on the face every now and then rehydrates the skin and even gives you a little energy boost.  Sneak the Mario Badescu spray into anybody’s (yes anybodys!) stocking and they are promised to fall in love with it.  Shop the rosewater, cucumber, and lavender sprays on Amazon!

9. Wet Brush

Now I'm not usually super picky about many things, but this is one of them.   The Wet Brush is safe to use on wet hair and combs out tangles without ripping the hair.  This stylist approved design is safe for all hair types. This brush is seriously a life-changer!  Find a twin pack on Amazon here, and make sure to keep the other for yourself!  You can also shop the Wet Brush Collection at Target, Walmart, Ulta, CVS, and Sally’s Beauty.

10. Perfume

You can never go wrong with perfume.  I recommend a sampler set so the receiver of your gift can try out a variety of scents.  This is especially convenient if you don't know exactly what they like. That being said, if you have lots of stocking to fill this holiday season, you could open up a sampler set and gift everybody a different fragrance.  Try the Good Intentions Sampler Kit from Pinrose at Sephora.
