Six social media stars walk into a studio and the product is just as charming as one could imagine. Not only are they gorgeous but they are emanating brilliance and determination. With the combination of personality and consistency, these digital stars are creating personal connections with their audience, gaining global recognition from millions of people and changing our perception of the “celebrity”.
On Saturday, August 8th, the DIY Makeup Influencers: Theo Turner, Isabel Bedoya, Houda Casablanca, Michela Wariebi, Tina Kosnik and Nikki Fontaine, joined lead influencer, Taren Guy for one-on-one interviews at the YouTube Studios in NYC. Business quickly turned casual as the room erupted into laughter, awe, and enthusiastic applause as they each discussed their rise in the industry.

Celebrity makeup artist, Theo Turner’s work has been featured in magazines such as Papermag and New York Family. With over 70,000 Instagram followers and A-List clientele, including Dascha Polanco from Orange is the New Black, all of Turner’s makeup styles are suitable for the big screen or high fashion editorials.
