I told myself 2017 would be my year. I’ll admit, I was a bad blogger in 2016. I wasn’t posting very frequently and I lost some inspiration along the way. I could sit here and write out every excuse but it’s not worth my time. The point is, I’m ready for a fresh start and I’m feeling inspired. I’m excited to start testing more beauty products, doing more tutorials and expanding into other topics. I’d love to know… is there a particular topic or beauty conundrum you’d like me to cover on the blog? What would like to see more of? I’d love to hear your feedback! Leave a comment or email me politicsofprettyblog[at]gmail.com.
I’m staying organized in 2017 thanks to these cute Create 365 planners from Michael’s. I highly recommend you scoop up one too! They come in a few different sizes and cute prints!
I’ve taken a keen interest in Korean beauty products and apparently these 15 trending products are worth every penny.
ICYMI: Glamour.com rounded up the top ten best face scrubs and yours truly was quoted!
I’ve been obsessing over deep plum nail shades like this one from Essie.
I never get political on the blog, but this sweet letter from the Bush sisters to the Obama girls warmed my heart.
Wishing you and yours a wonderful weekend!
